Doing everything at bandon dunes and need a course between Eugene and Bandon to add due to travel scheduling.

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Without going to Bend or Portland, it appears Bandon Crossings (Bandon), Florence Golf Links (Florence), and Ocean Dunes (Three Rivers Casino, Florence) would be some of the better options. Coos golf club caught my eye but from what I could see on the website wasn't impressive. Salishan golf links looks ok but is a little North.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS been lurking for a minute on here but getting back around to posting. Game getting into single digits and feeling good.

Can you not get on the Preserve or any course at Bandon? It's a 2.5 drive, so not a ton of time, and any course on property is going to be better than your listed options.

With that said, I've heard more about Bandon crossings than any of the others..

I have a day with no golf scheduled due to how the flights worked out, so time isn't a huge issue but don't wanna go out my way to portland or bend either. I'm playing everything at Bandon preserve included. When I booked 15 months ago, it was tough to get tee times so I'd be surprised if something was available. That being said, playing one of the Bandon courses twice might be a better option.

In the process of trying to get on Eugene CC.

The caddies from Bandon like Bandon Crossings. Is Pumpkin Ridge out of the way? I’m not sure of geography as I’ve always flown into Coos Bay airport.

This is the play if you can swing it.

Bandon Crossings
I wouldn't go out of the way to pay it if I could get a time at any of the BD courses. Kaiser just bought it and will be renovating it at some point, and sounds like he will have 36 holes to play south of Bandon once the other course gets built.

I would call 30 days out from your trip. That is the time window for refundable cancelations, and times will become available as groups cancel our reduce their count.

Thanks for the input. Oregon football has a bye week so worried about Eugene. Think the consensus is we would rather play another course and save money bye doing crossings than play a BD course twice.

Also, yea Portland too far.

Then I would do Crossings. I have heard it is a good course, and that also gives you an afternoon/evening in Bandon not on property for a different experience.

I just got back and thought about playing in Bend as well, but was too far.

I was able to get on Eugene but it was $325 compared to $55 at crossings. Also, late tee time and didn't feel like traveling through Western Oregon in the dark. Crossings it is. Can't wait.

That's much more than I expected, but I imagine they get alot of Bandon traffic. Good call, hope you enjoy Crossings and your trip!
