You’re on the right track picking Stowe and Woodstock. Idyllic spots for a Vermont Christmas.
For Woodstock, look at the Woodstock Inn & Resort. That’s our favorite spot. If you’re trying for something a little cheaper, the Kedron Valley Inn is another good option.
Edit: I’ve never stayed at the Lincoln Inn & Restaurant at the Covered Bridge, but we have eaten there. It’s incredible and the story behind how they got started is really interesting. They only do one seating, 3-4 nights a week, and there are maybe 7 tables total.
