I’m not knocking him at all. He was more than serviceable.
The eyes don’t lie and he ran first a ton not letting plays develop after the e first read or they to throw someone open. That is on him and not the OC. Even Kelly said it in his presser today until the end of Q3 and Q4. I saw him take sacks holding onto the ball even the last (or second to last) drive.
He doesn’t throw people open with comes with timing and learning the offense.
There were 9 men in the box with a corner blitz. He didn’t count the corner or check to the hot route or call a TO in the first half. He got sacked. That is a learning the offense and understanding timing ie not trying to escape to make a play downfield.
