8 months ago we had 39 players in bowl game with WR playing QB

I think everyone needs understand and remember just how far we fell...
Roster is now at 76 not 85. Thats like being on probation...
Best RB suspended
Lost Mason and Gaye
3 of our best out to close that game. It matters
For season we have:
All new DBs
All new LBs
All new OL
New QB
All new kickers
New center!
All coaches replaced but 1
Its going to take time to get back to LSU football standards.
We fought back....thats good! 4th qtr was fun...
Recruiting is going amazing...
Enjoy the process!

This board is full of retards. They think just because we paid Kelly a lot that all our roster problems disappear over night.I’ve never been this embarrassed for this board.

Like I said...we fell a long ways...
We have athletes...
But this roster is pieced together...
Thats the reality...
We will improve as the season goes on

Recruiting is a direct result of the confidence the high school kids and their families have in the coaches. That one can turn quickly if the season goes poorly.
There wasn’t an aspect of that game that went well. No position group looked good except WRs #2-8.

I fully support BK - it’s going to take time and for a first effort (once all of the issues were laid bare in front of us) we came within 1 point of OT and the offense/defense started to look much better.
I *think* our FG kicker is ok based on the one FG if we can actually give him protection.
We need another solution at PR.

if you would have brought this up prior to kickoff i’d have more respect for it but many on trant assumed lsu would win this game

We could easily have lost to FSU by 4 TDs and were fortunate not to have. Half our yardage came at the very end when they played soft on defense. They totally dominated LSU until the last few minutes of the game, in every phase.
Our passing game is bad. 6ypa vs FSU, defense is questionable and the special teams are terrible. This team needs to look a hell of a lot different come October.

But then a game like last night happens and grown men are literally screaming to the sky about what a terrible hire Brian fricking Kelly was and how we are doomed because we didn’t hire Billy Napier
It’s fricking incredible to me how short sighted and willing to react and make up their minds based on a very small sample size the majority of human beings are.
Part of me thinks this is a reflection of recent societal shifts in emotional stability and maturity, but actually “I knew against FSU he was terrible!!!!” is just the new UT in 05
