And Fan appreciation party this Monday at Floore’s. I’m already spending the weekend in Dallas so BIL and I are going to drive down Monday.

Anyone streaming his last shows this weekend?

I was under the impression the Monday Fan Appreciation thing was just other bands covering REK...he's not actually playing.

Well, that would suck. There’s 4 hours of music from 6-10p. He will be there. I can’t imagine he won’t play, but I could be wrong.

"Lucky winners get to come enjoy a night of music and fun celebrating the one and only Robert Earl Keen! Grab a cold beer, some hot tamales and enjoy live music by many VERY special guests!"

I couldn't imagine he doesn't jump up, but it's weird wording.

He was incredible in Beaumont a couple of weeks ago. Played for 2.5 hours. Watching him cover Gypsy Songman with Jerry Jeff Walker's guitar was a very special moment for my dad and I.

I’m watching the stream right now. Should be a good one.

The concert last night didn't have much REK involvement, but nevertheless, I am very happy I went. For starters, Floore's is really cool venue and it was free.

I got to see a bunch of Texas and OK roots country artists that I have learned through REK Radio on Apple music. Most played 2-3 songs. Some of their own stuff, some REK songs and some classic country.

Cody Canada, Reckless Kelly, Bruce Robinson, Shinyribs (that dude is awesome), Panhandlers, Jason Boland, Ray Benson, Roger Creager, Wade Bowen and others.

Songs that I can remember that were played in tribute were: Corpus Christi Bay, Front Porch Song, That Bucking Song, I'm Coming Home, What I really mean, Amarillo Highway, Wild Wind. There may have been others. No Road, DSC, Feeling Good Again, Merry Christmas

Classics I remember - On the Road Again, Tulsa Time, Fireman, Blame it on your lying cheating heart, All my Ex's live in TX

When REK played, it was only 4 songs and 3 of them were with a ton of people on stage. CCRs midnight special was a fun one.

REK's encore was him, alone, doing Let the Music Play

3 hrs and 40 minutes of fun music.

I am a big fan of most of those bands and I would have loved to attend. Bet it was amazing.

I went to his show on Sunday which was his last concert ever. Might be the best concert I’ve ever been to. So much fun.

Got to see him a few weeks ago in The Woodlands. He used to be a staple in my rotation of music. Now that I have a long commute I mostly listen to podcasts and have a few Pandora stations and he doesn't come up very much. It was actually kind of nice to hear all his songs fresh and live. Opened up with Feelin' Good Again and I got goosebumps. He writes such good songs.
