ULM tried and failed during the Charlie Weatherbie era. They actually tried using a wordmark with Louisiana on a spear on their helmets one season.
It didn't stick.

nobody in monroe really cared. it was annoying when yall started it at first but its become something to rib yall with more than anything. It was a bit disappointing when admin caved and let yall run with the name but it is what it is. It seems the only people hung up on it still are the ones without better things to worry about.
