I read this thread and the jacklegs who are saying you are out of touch are just dummies to the situation.
This is a new issue (two years) prompted by the car manufacturers seeing a market (loud cars) and buyers lapping it up.
The problem is: there are different drivers doing this early in the morning, late at night, during the day such that it is a constant noise to the nearby residents in BR. They are too cheap to go to a track, so they peel out on Siegen, Perkins, Airline, etc and then run from the cops and do it someplace else.
I think the only solution is to vote for council members who come up with creative solutions. What is that? I dunno. Maybe having cops measure sound levels and ticketing noise violations until these dregs go elsewhere or their car is impounded.
And yes, it is a “minor” nuisance in the grand scheme of this crime addled city, but it is a big detriment to quality of life of homeowners just looking for some peace.
