This is so much smaller than the ECHL.
And with the amount of NHL teams I saw represented last night, and cheap tickets, I’d imagine there would be 700+ season ticket purchases each year after the newness wore off.
Will it work long term? We will see, but given the FPHLs arena capacity is - I don’t think it’s a slam dunk this becomes the 90s 2.0

Surely the river center would charge significantly more to lease so not so fast.
They need much more than 700.

Hopefully the league expands some more. If they have 12 teams next season, that would be the most amount the league has had in its 12-year history.
A lot of teams have folded over the years, though.
The Carolina team that was here seems to have some support in their town. All of their games have an online stream with a real broadcast, and some brewery even made an official beer. Although the arena does look pretty empty in this pic
