Yesterday they were saying he reminds them of Debo Jones. Only thing is that Perkins is much bigger as a freshman then Debo was. At 6'3 230 he can fly!

I’m obviously completely ignorant to the nuances of actual football as it was simply him running and pushing a guy. Yes he looks fast but am I just completely missing that he was way faster than everyone else? Is what he did impressive and worthy of a thread?

I’m being serious when I lead off with it’s apparent I do not get the nuances of football. Is what he did highlight worthy? If so, great

Aggies in shambles over losing out on him. You love to see it.

We know he can get there but can he tackle? I noticed in the Polynesian Bowl that he would get there but wouldn't finish. I wrote it off as not wanting to get hurt. I assume that this was not live tackling today even though it was a scrimmage?
Not saying he is soft just haven't seen him bring the pads with the speed yet.

his brain is moving faster than his feet. the diagnosis and path to the ball was exceptional.

Quickly diagnosis play, moves to the ball-carrier through traffic, and then accelerates into the 'shove' which would have been a big hit. Gotta like it.
