I mean you can ask the same thing about Nuss. If he’s so much better, why hasn’t he been named the starter?

Daniels has much more starting experience and I think CBK values that a lot. I think that’s why Nuss hasn’t been named the starter yet, but he will be next week. Daniels can throw a nice deep ball, but that’s about it. Going through your reads and throwing the ball down field accurately is what is important and that’s why Nuss will be named the starter

I respect your opinion,
But there are reports out there in practice that Jayden has looked better as a passer overall, and there are clips out there showing him hitting receivers for like 15-20 yards over the middle
If your going to use the media to justify your Nuss claim, then you must understand that the same media is saying that Jayden looks better as well.

A major takeaway has been how sharp Daniels is looking. He’s clearly been working on his release, with a much cleaner look. The seasoned veteran has shown tremendous growth from spring camp to now.

The above quote is directly from this article.
If you use the media to justify Nuss starting, then you also have to use the media to understand that Jayden has improved as well.
