Only One has successful head coaching experience and been to bowl games, and worked under some really good coaches at some really good programs. That one is the one to bet on. The other may wind up a superstar but lots of big recruiters have failed as head coaches.

Freeman has coached under Jim Tressell at OSU, Luke Fickell at Cincinnati, and Brian Kelly at Notre Dame. Napier coached under Dabo early in Dabo's career and under Saban. I'd call that a push regarding them coaching under good coaches at good programs.
