OweO, I ask this simply because I don’t know. I admit I’ve given you some shite on here too, but not about your physical abilities.

That said, were you using a wheelchair in grade school?

Yes. I used one my entire life. I had a push wheelchair until I was a freshman in HS. Having a lot of cousins my age or close to my age and living in a neighborhood with a lot of kids around my age and then being in school as the only kid in a wheelchair, I never considered myself any different than anyone else.

That was part of the problem when I all of a sudden had to go to a whole new school for 3 years. All of a sudden I was treated like "the kid in a wheelchair" which meant people were overly nice and treated you in a different way that the other kids or all of a sudden the kids who normally got "bullied" felt like they had someone they could try to "bully".

I hate saying the worried "bully", because I think its normal behavior for kids. Yes its parents job to take care of those situations, etc but it teaches kids how to defend themselves. Today kids get to play victim if they are bullied.
