Do you mean a student robotics team that dominated an annual NASA robotics competition, claiming its seventh title in a row and eight out of the past nine championships?

Do you mean the Alabama Forensic Team which won team and Individual National Titles this year?

Do you mean a school that includes ALL athletes and has the best adapted athletics facilies in the nation which spawned national titles in men's and women's basketball and tennis?

Do you mean having 60 UA students receive the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship?

This list could go on for a while and a lot of the successes and the way those successes were financed owe at least some thanks to the football teams success under Coach Nick Saban. That success brought publicity, built the student body and provided a community energy to move forward while schools like LSU were slashing spending, lowering entrance requirements, hiring CRT experts and taking WW2 heroes names off of buildings.
