The fan allegiance to either Brennan or Nuss is unfounded to me.

Nuss is at least cool.

Players are criticized for not having allegiance to the school

Then fans are criticized for showing some type of allegiance to one of the few guys to stick it out thru several bumps in the road.

I see self-awareness isn’t a strong suit. Fan allegiance to ANY of our QBs, especially at this point when none of them has proven shite at this level of college football, is insane and fricking ridiculous. You guys are all crazy.

Well, both have very strong arms, and we all loved the 2019 offense (very aggressive passing).

Brennan, I think the idea was, he's older- therefore more football-smart. People envision him standing back in the shotgun, throwing 40-45 times, lots of quick decisive passes inside the hashmarks, moving up and down the field.

Nussmeier, I believe the general perception was "a gunslinger", with a lot of Farve in his game. Who doesn't want the next Farve?

Daniels is an outsider, a guy we haven't seen much of, that for some reason is getting lumped into comparisons with Brandon Harris and Jordan Jefferson.

And again the JD deflection strikes. It's an infatuation with Nuss and JD that is on the rant, and anyone who asks why not Brennan is shot down.

Ultimately the correct answer is: good arguments can be made as to why any will start, but we have a head coach that we can and will trust no matter his decision.
