I'm planning on planting:
Oats
Wheat
Brassicas
Peas.
I'll be planting it in a couple of weeks most likely.
ETA: I'm in NC MS and I buy my seed from a small seed & feed store up here.
One more edit: I have some more lime that I need to get put out also.

I wonder when people plant this early is it for bow season?
I don't plant until the first weekend of October so my food plot is just a few inches tall and nice and tender when gun season starts. Plus, there is generally more rain then so you don't have to worry about looking at a dry field for weeks waiting on rain.
