Seriously, is the owner awake? He has to do something. fricking pussy leadership. The catcher thing is not a big deal right now. Not playing Mancini is madness, whether the regular season record really matters to them or not. It's an insult to a talented veteran and the GM who did the required work to acquire gim.
As for the alleged baseball reasons, the difference on defense between Chas and Dubon in CF is not even in the same universe as the difference between Mancini and Dubon at the plate. If Darth Idiot or anyone else claims otherwise, they are either hopeless stupid or flat out liars.

My thing is, why do we take 3 at bats from a pretty damn good hitter on the what 10-15% chance that if Mancini were playing left field he'd have a ball that he could misplay over the course of 8 innings of whenever you get the lead and want to prioritize defense.
That is kind of besides the point anyway, because Trey should be going everyday at 1st and Aledmys has earned the starts in LF.
