It all depends on your location relative to their towers.

I am out by the lake too and it was unserviceable for work from home. Random outages, plus huge ping made voip useless.

Good news is cox cut their rate 40% so I was able to go back a a lower price.

I may give it a whirl this weekend and see what the signal is like at my house. I guess it's all unique to how close a tower is to my house and everyone will be different.

Piggy backing off of this topic though. I currently have ATT 1gig fiber line. How much download/upload speed do you need before it gets redundant?

So for example, I have like 45 devices connected to my wifi. However, most are hardwired and the items not hard wired are like Google Nest's or a few lightbulbs/switches. The biggest eater is probably 3 Nest cameras but at what point am I overpaying for more bandwidth than I need?
