Baton Rouge teen who murdered his family?

The NetFlix, "I Just Killed My Dad" thread reminded me of this.
Do any of you remember the teenager (I think went to Episcopal or Dunham) who murdered his entire family in the middle of the night? It was probably 25 or so years ago if I had to guess? I think he was playing Marilyn Manson or the Doors "The End"? Does that ring a bell?

Is this the kid that lived in Woodstone or am I thinking of something else?

Dad survived. Mother died. Sister not harmed.
He was fricked up and snapped while listening to The End. The Marilyn Manson connection is that he was apparently in the running to take Daisy’s place while they were prepping Antichrist Superstar in New Orleans.
Strangely, an LSU professor later moved into that house and was also attacked (killed?) at the front door as well.

Good older thread.
For what it’s worth, I seem to remember the dad and sister maintaining fairly regular communication with him like 2-3 years after it happened. We used to hang out at their house a lot, and kind of arms-length knew what was going on, but no one ever dared to dig in for updates.
Dad and sister were great people (and presumably still are).

I was friends with his girlfriend at the time. He was a take a lot of acid shave your eyebrows off kind of kid. We hung out a couple of times. Needless to say, very weird dude.

Knew him. Nice enough guy to me but always a bit off to say the least.
Got kicked out of Episcopal for spitting in a Bible, per what he told classmates afterward.
Last I heard, he was on the back end of about a 30-40 year sentence, which means he probably has about 10-15 years to go.
Edit - And per the other thread, he was released by 2018 having served about 21 years.
