re: Tigers unranked in preseason Coaches poll, released today.

I’m usually pretty grounded in my predictions and had us going 7-5 or 8-4, and maybe this is just preseason August jitters but I’m starting to see this season through rosy purple and gold glasses.

The way the schedule sets up we’re low key about to have a very exciting season. With CBK at the helm, we should run the table in all the games were favored in September. He wins games he’s supposed to win.

We’d be undefeated heading into the Tennessee game and if UT wins the games they should win/be favored in then that game will be an undefeated top 15 matchup. That’s the start of a huge home stand. If we win that game we’re going to have 2 more top 15 matchups over the next 2 home games. Ole Miss and Alabama are our next 2 home games after Tennessee and they’re both going to be 0 loss or 1 loss teams by the time they play us. It’s going to be an exciting October and we may even end up hosting gameday in one of those matchups. CBK gonna burst LSU back onto the national stage quickly!
