I think Jayden Daniels could be a Star QB!

been watching highlights again, and damn this guy is really good. strong arm, accurate and has some wheels… I know he didn’t have the best year last year, but Herm Edwards was a worse disaster than Ed O… Would be a really nice surprise if we have the next college Lamar Jackson waiting to hit the scene!
PS! ONE CAN HOPE

Cool. Not sure that I would hire you as an evaluator, remember that you are watching highlights.

Same could be said for the others. All three of these guys have potential to be a star with the talent around them.
I don't think anyone doubts Daniels' wheels and ability to run. He's electric. It's what his passing game and accuracy against legit SEC defenses (not Pac-12 cupcakes) would look like that is questionable.
If the coaching staff is comfortable enough with that aspect of his game for the tradeoff vs. the other two likely being better passers, he would probably start. We'll find out soon enough. If not, I think he'll at least be used in situational packages.

You're obviously more than a few cards of comprising a full deck.

This will be the first competent coaching staff he has had, so that gives me some hope.

If he sees the field, it won't be as starting QB , barring injuries.

There are so many things idiotic in your statement I don't have the energy to go through them all. Please delete your account.

Is he?

Not saying much there are you? He may very well be a star, but Lamar Jackson he’s not. Besides it has taken Jackson years to get more accurate as a passer. A run first QB is probably not what coach Kelly will settle on.

IMO Lamar Jackson wouldn’t have been as great in the SEC

Not if Air Myles has anything to say about it.

He could be, there is always a chance. But he didn't show much of anything in the spring game to signal that he will be a star for us this coming season.

Highlights fooled me as well. Watch the games and you will see that he is wildly inaccurate. Not a good passer at all. Passing metrics are also terrible.

accurate
not a word I would describe daniels

Idk about a star, but Jayden Daniels has shown more on a college football field than either of the other 2 options. People who are writing him off as an option for the starting QB role are kinda weird.

Everybody looks good in their highlight reel.

Where does the inaccurate talk come from when referring to Daniels? He has a higher career completion percentage than Brennan while having almost identical passing yards per attempt stats.
