I'm seeing conflicting reports. A few minutes ago I saw a story that she was declared dead and just now see a story that she is still alive, but declared brain dead.
From that story they are checking to see if any of her organs not damaged in the crash can be used to help others since she was an "Organ Donor".

Ellen Degeneres, her ex-wife, just issued a post in remembrance so I assume she has now passed.

In California brain dead is dead. So she's on a respirator until they find people to out the organs into.
Next story in a couple of days will be who gets what organs.
