I say this as an actual, real life, true blue Blind Melon fan…it’s WILD to me that they charted higher than those Alice In Chains, Beastie Boys and Rage albums. I don’t ever remember them being as big as them. I guess I underestimated the popularity of No Rain.

Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is easily my favorite album of all time. I love every song and the order in which they are laid out. Went to several shows supporting that tour, best time of my life
Actually on 2nd look that STP release was terrific and on a side note I dislike Offspring more than any other band

It's funny because there's at least 3 or 4 songs I'd cite as my favorites on that album before any of those 3 listed.

That song was wildly popular and could be played on any radio station back then. I can't say the same for AIC, Beastie Boys, and Rage.

I kind of right there with you.

Megadeth peaking at 2 is even more surprising.

I don't know, MTV played the shite out of videos from that album. And Metallica had already hit mainstream a year before.
