real character of a lot of folks coming out here.
Getting burned by the ones who frequent this area will tend to do that. "Real Character" has nothing to do with it. Put me down again for a "no"- and put it in all caps.

while i appreciate getting burned can make you callous (i mean how would you know though, you stalking them after you give them money) it is a little sad you cant empathize with any that are legitimately in a hard way and need help.
Again this isnt about giving money. i dont give them money 99% of the time. I realize that doesnt solve the bigger problem and may even fuel the demise of that person. You can do both, have empathy but act rationally.
