Aren’t they supposed to not give a red card and a penalty in that situation?

He technically wasn't playing the ball, so if you call a foul it has to be a red.
Didn't necessarily deserve a red though in my opinion. That's a tough one. I think the fact that he was completely trying to play the man and not the ball based off the angle of Cancelo's run did him in.
