Anyone know where these can be purchased in BR, LFT or New Iberia. Used to get some from a guy in Natchitoches when I went thru but he is now deceased.

Make the 30 minute drive from Natchitoches to Zwolle, the tamale capital.

El Rio Grande in BR sells some pretty good ones. Besides the ones my dad makes, the best ones I've had around here was at the BASF plant in Geismer from a Mexican selling them out the back of his van.

The tamales are in Denham Springs at Cantu's about a mile off I-12. The phone number is 225-243-7705. Open Monday-Sat 10:30 to 7:00. They are some of the best.
