Miami to Bimini...via boat

Anybody make this crossing? 50-ish miles shouldn't be too difficult depending on weather. Plan to take a 27' Monterey 270CR.

I've done it, but it was years ago on a sailboat so I've got no advice to give you. Took a SCUBA class taught by Ebert Van Buren at NLU and we sailed from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini. Lived on the boat for a week and did multiple dives per day.

You'll have more luck on the OB probably as most of the people that do that do it for fishing.
