Gas prices have been dropping for 34 days straight, about 50 cents a gallon. That saves the average driver about $25 a month.

I know those extra dollars and cents mean something. It's breathing room. And we're not done working to get prices even lower.

They expect it to go back up around October. It’s temporary. For the election

Democrats Love to try to fix problems they create, but this won’t last unless our production increases, and not just pricing people to the point of increasing supply

Wait until we get a hurricane or two.

Also when all these refineries have to go down after being at max capacity all summer, we'll probably see a rise.

Except the drop in prices is speculation based on recession fears.

So he has managed to get the prices down….. by the likelihood of a hard recession. There have been little headway in actual supply. If there was… we wouldn’t still be pumping from the reserve.

But all those Liberalsplainers told me the president doesn't set the gas prices so I'm not sure what to make of this. Are you saying he does? Well this just throws my whole world topsy turvey.

Oil is still hovering at or around 100.

Has anything fundamentally changed in the past few months?

Biden is now forcing new regulations to impact Permian Basin exploration, making flaring illegal on new drilling.

So the assault on the oil industry is still in full swing despite anything that they actually say. They say they dont like high oil prices, but wont actually do anything that could bring them down or at least keep it from going up further.

The induced recessions may have an impact, but at the expense of a lot of other economic misery.

So many people do not know or understand how gas prices are set, what supply and demand have to do with it, and trends.

Nope. Just economic fears.

Also.. the lower prices are now chipping away at some demand destruction that was there at higher prices.

How can they get them lowered if Biden has no accountability in them going higher.

By the way, the prices have not dropped where I live.
