Good God Almigthy!

That was some lightning-in-a-bottle shite.

Nothing will ever come close to seeing them live at the first lollapalooza.

I admit, I didn't think Perry would live through the 90s at the time. He looked like a ravaged heroin addict.

Can't find a decent pic of it but I remember at some point during their set they brought out a massive 30 foot puppet to move around on stage. Craziest shite I've ever seen. The idiots in the audience set fires all over the lawn and everyone started throwing empty water bottles up in the air..it was freaking surreal seeing 100,000+ water bottles flying up in the air nonstop.

I don’t know …. Seeing them at tips (87’), nola music hall (90’) or municipal auditorium (1991) was pretty good

I saw the last two

At 49yrs old and lifelong janes fan, I am completely baffled that I never knew the full backstory on Navarro. I just saw the doc a few weeks ago. What an insane story

What’s this?

Nothing’s Shocking was a shock to the system game changer for me. I was in college and had never heard anything like that. I really like Ritual, but it didn’t hit me in the same way.

I wish I’d been able to see my face in a mirror the first time I heard Ocean Size kick in.

Here you go. 1987

Insane. They had already written and performed almost every song on both Nothing's Shocking and Ritual in 1986/87.

Such an epic, mesmerizing song. Lyrically, the tempo switches, just a wall of sound. I must’ve cranked it 20 times in a row first time I heard it
