Cheap 30A Golf

Going in a couple of weeks with some friends who are new to golf. They like golf and like to play, just not at $100 a round. Are there any cheapish options around?

If you can get on at Origins, it’s the perfect place for what you’re describing. It’s a 10 hole par 3 course laid over a 6 hole regulation course. Sounds weird, but it works. Brought my kid, nephew and brother in law a few years ago and we had a blast. Really pretty piece of property too. I had heard it might have gone private though.

Origins is private- windswept or Holiday are your best bets

I played origins in November, not sure if it has changed since then but it wasn't private when I played. I played the 6 hole one day and liked it so much I came back to play the 10 hole par 3 the next day. A lot of fun and pretty affordable.

Damn …. The word is out, it was only $65 bucks about three years ago.

If anyone in the group has access to Elgin AFB, drive the 40 min for the Eagle course…great deal on a pretty decent track.
