I usually play more in the winter and fall off when the weather starts getting well enough to go outside more often. If I'm not able to put in the time to fully understand and know the game, I get frustrated easily. And with you really needing to level up multiple types of ships and nationalities to understand how different each ship is.....I stopped playing. I enjoy the hell out of it...I just rarely have the time to put in so I can learn the capabilities of each ship.

Some lines are an absolute pain to grind as well but have some good payoffs like the US BB line but if it gets too bad you can use Free XP to skip over certain ships. I recently unlocked the North Carolina which is so much better than the Colorado and actually a fun ship to play. As I mentioned previously I have been playing Co-Op for the event they'r having for the new UK BB line and has been stress free.
At a minimum even if you don't plan on playing the game at all I would still log in daily to get the rewards and check the armory for their daily giveaways too.

Yeah I still logged on for the rewards for a while but I ended up stopping because I legit never would play it. I just got frustrated that leveling would take so long because I couldn't get XP for shite.

Premium helps a lot in that regard, what Tier were you stuck on?

It's fun, if repetitive. I don't grind nearly as much as others that I know play it, which keeps it more fun for me. I'll quickly grow bored with it if I start trying to run several hours a night just doing this.
I do wish they had more scenarios and a bit more rotation to them. Those "Tier 6" or "Tier 7" missions are fun, but they need them for other tiers of ships as well.

It's actually better with the newer economy system. It feels like I have a lot more exp boosts than when they were part of the flags. I know there are some absurd levels of free XP boosts out there as well.

Not sure how I didn't touch on this but youre absolutely correct, I sold off hundreds of camos and made some nice bank then still have 100s of economic boosts to spare.
I had no idea there was a TD discord.

Today’s UK BB missions include the lovely “earn as many ribbons” which lends itself well to the Atlanta.

Side note: read the new release from the game launcher to get a 24 hour premium pass.

This event works really well with grinding for new ships in the tech trees. I need to work on the Wooster and Hindenburg for the event.
