All this shite is regulated. All of those fees are either break even or have a pre calculated rate of return.

It's expensive and it sucks, but people want to power their gaming PC, 9 tvs, washer, dryer, and keep their air on 67 all the time. That takes infrastructure.

That's not to say there isn't waste, because there absolutely is, but it's not like they're just adding fees that go straight to the bottom line

They ran the wires and the poles. You, or whoever lives there after you, will pay for that for the rest of your lives.

I would even argue higher as an avg considering Ida. Weren’t the power infrastructure damages worse than the last 4 major storms combined? If the customer doesn’t ultimately pay for the costs associated with maintaining a service, who should?
