I would just love to hear the rationale behind benching Tucker, but catching Maldy in a day game after a night game.

The Maldy thing is what gets me. I’m sure Verlander wants him which is fine, so have Lee catch last night. But the rest thing makes no sense when you consider they routinely have Maldy catch a day game after a night game
