Sure lets put OU before a team that has won 3 championships in recent years and actually had televised championships.

Yawn at 8$4, spending a shite ton of money to accomplish jack shite does not mean you are a big brand.

no way A&M is one spot behind LSU

I mean frick, we have played in 4 National title games the last 19 years

won 3 titles

A&M hasn't even played in an SEC title game

Clemson plays in the ACC.... they don't play anyone interesting anymore because FSU and Miami are not good

we beat OU badly last time around

we beat them in 04

I don't get it...but OU is traditionally big name like Michigan and Texas

All of y’all have the same opinion I had when I read it. This just goes to show how some of these nobodies pump out articles with no credibility but are on a National Publication so they are treated as legitimate and substantive. I mean have any of you ever heard of this guy? College Football HQ Staff? I mean come on.

I live in Virginia Beach VA, and wear my LSU polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts around town. I am CONSTANTLY being hit with elll esss yoooh! from black males probably in the 18-25 yo age group, pretty close to the demographic we are recruiting.

The LSU brand is VERY STRONG among young black males. I bet it's top 3 easily.

Recently, the website Official Visit went around asking 1,000 high school football recruits what they thought the best brands were in the college football market

Reading is hard.

This isn’t this guy’s opinion. They surged a bunch of kids, and they definitely think Da U and Nike University are bigger brands than Michigan and Notre Dame.

Reeks of recency bias

LSU is honestly in a good spot. One could argue UT should be top 5 ( they underachieve like no other, but they can still swing a big dic)

UGA has no business in even the top 10 imo

A&M neither

USC/Michigan/Notre Dame should all be in the list

It's an interesting study (if you can read) that also compares these kids' opinions against win/loss, revenue, and a couple other benchmarks.

You know what gets me about this. Is everyone in the SEC has to know that if Clemson were in the SEC they probably would not have even made it to the playoffs once. Especially if they were in the SEC west. LOL, They would’ve had to beat Bama, LSU, Auburn, aTm, Arkansas, probably either FLA. or Gawga every year.

What is the obsession with Ohio state… they have won 2 national championships in the last20 years.

They play 2 “big” games a year in regular season (if u call Michigan a big game) and the rest is patty cake games where they get upset at least once every year.

I guess the media needs someone from the north to champion.

Exactly. Unless you’re one of the high school recruits I’m not sure your opinion really matters. This is the brand. Has nothing to do with how many championships someone’s won in the last 20 years.

If you go back to the most watched teams thread they ranked first in the nation. That's the result of a huge fanbase which equates to a huge brand.
