We need to get past this Louisiana approach. If a Louisiana coach and/or player wants to bllsht around with us, then we take an equally rated national player.

As long as we re-capture the LA top 10-15, we will thrive. We're not going to dominate in transition years. I expect us to take Louisiana next year after this staff have set up shop here for some time. Please look at where some of our best players have come from. We would not had the success we have had without them.

Patrick Peterson - FL; Dwayne Bowe - FL; Jamal Adams - TX; Delpit - TX; Joey B. - Ohio; Rickey Jean-Francois - FL; Joseph Addai - TX; Chaisson - TX; Arden Key - GA; Kevin Minter - GA; Kwon Alexander - AL; Thad Moss - NC; Michael Brockers - TX; Jalen Collins - MS; Spencer Ware - Ohio; Jalen Mills - TX; Brad Wing - Aussie; JC Copeland - GA; Danielle Hunter - TX...and so on.

No they don’t. It’s a proven winner

And when coach O tried it, it flopped

No one is saying abandon national recruiting. But the foundation of LSU’s tremendous success over the last 2 decades has been Louisiana players.

Sure, it is necessary to have a Burrow. But he doesn’t get it done alone with a Chase, Jefferson, CHE, Stingley, Queen, Marshall, Fulton, Chusenberry.

Mauk is not a champion without Vincent, Henderson, Clayton, Spears, Green, Hill, Webster, Lavalais

I don’t think BK is “abandoning” LA, at all. But it is naive to think he can ignore LA talent without repercussions
