quote:

I think there are a lot of people who feel this way, especially on this board.

Maybe.

quote:

Ultimately, that boils down to an allegiance to Trump over country.

That's not true at all.

quote:

DeSantis could come out and say Trump deserves to be imprisoned (he wouldn’t actually), and he’d still be a better choice than whoever the Dems run.

No he would not. He would be the same.

There are lines that are the stopping point.

quote:

Even still, voting 3rd party to de facto elect a Democrat would be justified by you and many here that “this country gets what it deserves” or some variation of that nonsense, while you sit back and watch another Democrat further destroy our nation.

A candidate that agrees with Marxism and political imprisonment based on lies is no better than a democrat.

Voting for that encourages more of the same behavior.

quote:

You and others masquerade as “America first,” but in the above example that you gave - it’s not America first. It’s Trump first, no matter the cost.

No, it's you that demand we give into Marxism to win a race rather than demand our candidates do better. It's you that gave us Bush, McCain, and Romney.

quote:

So, just call yourself that. It would be more dignified and worthy of respect.

Trump First.

I will call it what it is.

America First. Be it Trump, be it DeSantis. Be it who ever.

I'm not a "I just want my party to win" guy. Words backed by actions....

"A republic if YOU can keep it". That requires holding elected officials accountable.

So yes. If DeSantis came out and said Trump needs to be imprisoned, he is no longer advocating a Republic. He is advocating Marxism.

This is what happens when you get into hypotheticals. None of that is going to happen.

You literally just advocated giving away a part of the nation to Marxism because he's a little better than the other guy.

I'm a true conservative and have been telling people including much of the church how wrong it is to blindly support Donald trump as if he is some type of anointed savior of America. If, in your opinion, that makes me "one of them", than so be it. Blessings friend

And you are advocating giving away the whole nation to Marxism, just to prove a point.

I give Trump all the credit in the world for his picks and did so earlier but if you can’t give McConnell credit too you are proving his point. That you are trump first trump only and America second

McConnell (while up for re-election as you note) gave trump his first appointment by not allowing merick garland up for a vote. He also sped through amy coney Barrett. Both of those under a weaker majority leader would have never happened.

ETA these were for opposing seats btw Scalia and RBG. So under the unitary guise you could say it makes sense on scalias seat McConnell would play the opposition game. But for the RBG seat-that you absolutely have to give him credit

No you are not.

You changed the words of Biden to mean something other than what he stated in other threads. You did it multiple times.

When a person:

- Defends Biden

- While knocking Trump

You are not.

Oh it does make you what you are.

Period.

1- Giving away that part of America to Marxism resulting in complete Marxism as it has in every nation that has ever reached that point

2- No I didn't. I advocated not voting for marxism.

Again. It's sad that you need a hypothetical to get cross as a way to attack. It's a odd tactic.

I never once defended Biden policies. I defended his mispeak (which really wasn't even misspeak). He obviously wasn't admitting in front of reporters that he had the most corrupt and stolen election/election team in history you gosh darned idiot. He was saying that he believes he has put together the best team to fight voter fraud. I stated we all know that the fraud is on his side. Lol? What in the actual frick are.you talking about dude. The GOP is in big trouble when it comes to the presidency. They're going to have an uphill battle now that TX and GA are on the table.

In what universe will the GOP struggle to defeat the current Democratic Party, assuming a fair election? Biden currently has near record breaking low approval ratings, the economy is crashing, the SCOTUS has gutted his platform, and his policies to this point have been disastrous.

Where did I say Mitch didn't get some credit? I never stated that. I corrected him in that Trump only gets a "little" credit.

That you are trump first trump only and America second

Man, you are not going to goad me into that. It's just not going to happen Adam.

If Trump runs, I will vote for him due to his record and there is nothing Trump First about it.

It's because he agrees with me and his actions proved it.

You’re not “one of them” at all. I think you’re in some strange and mysterious grouping. The Twilight Zoners. The Zoners, colloquially speaking. That old washed up “blindly supporting Trump” or “cult” if you want to dumb it down even further. And as for you “telling much of the church” to beware the false Conservative, perhaps you should refrain from placing yourself in a self-perceived position of higher knowledge to the extent that they should align themselves with your righteous opinions……particularly in the setting of the church.

In the same universe if Donald J. Trump is the candidate. The only candidate that has negatives on par with Biden's Literally, the one guy the Democrats could beat with Joe Biden and $5 gas.

You did. You agreed on Green energy. More than me saw it and pointed it out.

Yes you did. In fact, you interpreted what he said.

No. See idiots like you don't understand nuance and detail, but I clearly said that the effective green energy policy is to allow a natural, slower transition while still supporting oil and gas. You're dumb as a box of rocks.
