It's lightyears safer than a 10y/o trying to carry a pregnancy to term.
Abortion isn’t the answer to rape. It is another moral evil.
*I’m not advocating for marriage to kids who have gone through puberty. I feel like I need to mention that.

Does the Ohio law allow exceptions for the health of the mother? If the pregnancy presents a health risk to the 10 year old, the doctor should have presented that as their reasoning for the abortion rather than the rape. Or as has been pointed out, erred on the side of a later conception date as it is very difficult to determine exact gestational age this early in the pregnancy and you are basically relying on the date of last menstrual period, which is highly unlikely to fit into a regular cycle for a 10 year old.
This “child abuse doctor” had two different ways to ensure this girl could legally end her pregnancy (health of mother, gestational age of fetus) but instead chose the option that makes the perfectly times news headline. I’m doubtful.

What kind of data do we have on 10-year olds and abortion safety?
