The biggest factor I think is not bringing back Tim Allen for the role. Chris Evans sounds nothing like Tim Allen. He was clearly cancelled for being right wing, which I’m sure you’re cool with these days since you think it’s appropriate to mutilate and castrate kids if they think they were born in the wrong body despite the vast majority growing out of that.

Last man standing got the ax because of his politics. Not so sure about this honestly. They’re bringing him back for the Santa clauses this Christmas. TV show on Disney+.
I think the biggest issue is that people were initially hesitant because of the wokeness… and then people who actually saw it said it wasn’t good. Parents found no reason to go. Had it been a good story that was fun and heartwarming like classic Pixar, it would have more staying power. But Pixar has been such a letdown lately. Parent hesitancy coupled with a mediocre product means bomb.
