More fight woes. Jetblue is impossible to get in touch with.

They moved the direct from Boston to Nola on Tuesday from 2pm to 8am. They offered me a switch but then it wouldn't work on the app. The phone you hold for hours and no one comes on and the text. The text chat makes me want to hit something.

By law I should be eligible for a free change or refund? Right?

I have never flown Jetblue before and I will fly spirit before I deal with them again. This sucks.

Your entire trip has been cursed it seems.

It happens

I'd probably take the L and the early flight home and bitch and moan to customer service until I got a $300 flight credit.

Yes. Credit at the very least but should be able to get a refund for that time difference.

Yesterday Delta preemptively put out travel waivers for this weekend already. Not a good sign. I fly out with them tomorrow and expecting a SS.

Called them. They were not helpful and an hour of listening to that horrible hold music didn't help.
Decided to cancel and book a direct on Delta.

This saves money because with Jetblue we had to check all five of our bags.

Now we can carry on the carryon.

My main issue is the "manage flight" page doesn't work on my two laptops, my desktop, my tablet, my wife's phone, or our kids phones. I tried them all.
Would rather fly an airline I'm familiar with.

Speaking of cursed.

I bought Music Man and other Broadway tickets Waaay back in November. I thought I had three night shows in a row. Well we got all dressed up last night ready to go to the Winter Garden. I grab my tickets. I had matinee tickets. Totally my bad for not checking. I found my email from November and I selected 8pm. But when broadway.com sent them they were 2pm. Now being an idiot i didn't notice this until 5pm.
So those $99 tickets times 4 were useless. Wife and daughter were about to pitch a fit. So got 4 tickets at $270 a piece plus $50 per ticket fee on stub hub. That hurt.

But there was a silver lining. The new seats were much much better. I could make eye contact with Hugh Jackman. 4th row back on the aisle. But then a lady with a top knot sat in front of me. Though she had no problem taking it out when I asked her. Crisis averted.. my daughter got a picture with Hugh so her night was made.
I've never sat that close in a Broadway show before. I think paying the premium is worth it moving forward.

But that was the biggest gaffe of the trip.

Oh and the other issue. Our original airbnb for $1600 I booked in October canceled in Feburary and I had to book a smaller apartment for $2400.

But hey we are having a great time. That's all that matters.

Just hope my train to Boston goes smooth. That's the next hurdle.

So. No derailment. But...

I'm taking the NE regional 164 to Boston now. I get on at Penn Station.
Well it was crowded. I couldn't get my bags above my seat. So I put them in the Cafe car. After the first stop u moved our bags to our car. Except I couldn't find my bag. I checked every bag on the train six times.

Someone got off with my suitcase.
It was a Nike brand suit case that was a swag item from the New Orleans bowl.
No one else on the train has that kind of bag.

I think because it was a Nike brand suitcase it was targeted.
I've had the conductor check every bag and they couldn't find it.
The stop it got off on was New Rochelle which is unmanned.

I have no clothes or shoes now.

This trip sucks. But the lady in the café car gave me two free rum bottles. So that was cool.

Guys if you ride a train keep your bag close.
