Wait... what's wrong w/a robot buying a teenager a tampon? You do realize that Hiro is a teenager in high school don't you? If you watch the previews it looks like Baymax, who is trying to help people w/healthcare needs, is buying the tampons for a girl at Hiro's high school.

There should be no reference to the reproductive system in any animated film that is rated G or PG. This was initiated after they showed a visit to the OBGYN in Up.

And I repeat, with more zeal and fervor: Why the frick is this in a movie for little kids??? WHY is this relevant to the story??
"It's to show that the robot doesn't understand the miracle of aging and puberty" you might say.
FIne, have the robot go shopping for acne cream. Or helping them pick out new clothes, or get a new haircut.
This is another not so subtle attempt at "the message" plain and simple.
