Does a certain outcome send the markets soaring?

We need a convo about this. Curious what others think.

What do you think and why?

It's been on the poli board but ... man is a case on admin agencies like the EPA just writing laws AND enforcing them how they see fit with police powers overdue

If the ruling is a hard-lined "we find that any mandate which falls, in any way, outside of an agency's scope of responsibility is unconstitutional and therefore null and void" then expect the bulls to run for a day or so.
Anything less but still finding against agency over-reach should still be viewed positively.
A ruling for the EPA would be just another straw on our already-broken economic camel's back.

The market has probably already corrected. First, the Supreme Court had the case docketed around 2017 during the Trump administration, but the court dismissed the case because it was moot when Trump replaced the regulations under the Clean Air Act in 2016.
Basically, this case stems from the Clean Air Act enacted under the Obama administration. The EPA used some obscure CAA definitions to enforce emission standards against the coal industries. The enforcement of the EPA regulations made it impossible for coal companies to abide by the emission standards in effect putting them out of business.
Screw the abortions and gun cases - this is the most important case. These executive agencies and their related regulations need to be curtailed.
