I’ve pondered them but can not justify it. As mentioned, weight is the biggest drawback. They are very cumbersome and could not be easily lifted/loaded/refilled from the back of a truck.
I also don’t typically need 30 gallons of fuel, so a few 5 Gal cans is sufficient for normal, non-hurricane use without the fuel sitting for too long.
