it was more like "what if LSU wins out", but it was nice to hear good things.

If LSU wins out we will have beaten 3 more top ten teams and our only loss will have been to Florida on the road. That will be enough IMO to get us into the big dance if there are less than two undefeated teams

Gary Danielson is probably the best color guy for CFB games. He is extremely prepared for each game, provides good insight both positive and negative, is truly unbiased, and really loves CFB.
I really enjoy listening to the CBS team.

This is the same Gary Danielson that basically assualted Michigans 2006 schedule?
I mean he went up there saying that Tenn was better than Penn State (Penn State beat Tenn in the outback bowl) and that Arkansas would kill Wisconsin if they played (Wisconsin won the Cap 1 Bowl btw).
He was right about Florida being better than Michigan, but 1 out of 3 isn't very good.
He is not unbiased at all; he is paid to promote the SEC, and he does. I have no problem with him doing it; it's the same thing ESPN does for other conferences

FWIW, most announcers are unbiased just most fanbases take any criticism of their team by an announcer as a biased shot at their team.
GD is a great color guy and I think most leveled headed members of the Rant would agree.

ok cool. thought you were being sarcastic. I pretty much agree with everything you just said. My perfect duo doing a game would prob. be Ron Franklin on play by play and Blackledge on color though. GD's 2nd for the color guy. Just keep Paul Maguire off tv
