I’ll admit Gibbs and anything before him is a blind spot for me. I remember them playing but I was way more interested in other things in my younger days. But starting with Scivique, Pap is the only catcher that comes close to Milazzo defensively.

That’s not to say they were worse overall catchers because they weren’t. I’m just talking about defense right now.
