Yep, most likely it’s something easy like a blown fuse and a cheap part.

Sounds like the guy didn’t know what he was doing and like you said, changing parts without diagnosing the issue.

Voltage at unit. Don't see any blown fuses. Connections look good.

Welp... after checking voltage I reconnected wires. As I was tightening the wire nut the fan came on and the gas heater came on for 5-10 seconds and shut down. Came down and themostat now has power and is working. AC is cooling. I guess it needed a passive reset of some kind.

Appreciate the assistance my good man.

Going to get a big glass of cold tea, cool down, and get on the phone with the AC company. They got an arse chewing coming.
