Truly an honest question. Can anyone reconcile this for me?quote:
Apparently it’s ok to choose to kill your own baby. But if it’s not your choice, it’s murder. Since the baby doesn’t have a choice (or vote) the law doesn’t care about their opinion.
Fetal homicide is a perp taking something (a living fetus) from a living, breathing person with rights, who WANTS that fetus.
Personally, I think it should be a punishment enhancement rather than a separate offense, but that is legislative pandering for you.

So, in your mind, the victim of "fetal homicide" is the mother?
Unborn children are equivalent to property in your world?
Interesting. So, what if the mother wants and abortion, but the father doesn't? The father has no property "rights" to the unborn child, but has 1/2 responsibility for the live birth until age of majority?
What an interesting and "enlightened" position to which we've evolved in the 21st Century...
