I liked the look of Scott ant FB and Williams at RB. Not sure if it was a clock milker type of formation, but it was affective for the most part.

That's a two-headed monster that opposing teams are going to have trouble with.

I agree, You can hand the ball off to Scott like you normally would, or give it to KW. Keep them guessing

Yeah on NCAA 2008 last yr. I changed Scott to fullback and he ran the FB dive, blast, and counter for first downs and TDs continuously. What took the coaches so long?

That dive play was old school. I was waiting for Hatch to pull it and pitch it.

Yeah, on NCAA with LSU I win the NC every year, and a LSU player gets the Heisman every year.

I think we should see more of this formation. On the final drive of the game I think if the fake to scott and pitch out to KW he walks in to the endzone. I understand about the clock management and the conservative play at the end so no big deal.

It wasnt a clock-milker, it's a formation we used because we werent running well out of the traditional formation. Little confusion with different style RBs, also a good goal line formation.

Yes it is unbelievable it took Les Miles all of spring training and 5 regular season games to realize that Keiland Williams should not be on the sidelines holding his helmet in his hands. I guess he was to busy listening to everyone talk about SCOTT FOR HEISMAN!!

this would be an absolutely deadly formation if someone with the mobility of Russell Shepard was running it

They should use the formation, but they won't do it for more than 10-15 plays. That's just not how it goes.

Why don't they put them into the pro formation where both are lined up on opposite sides and the qb under center?

Haven't done that since Dalton-James Gang days...did it some with Arnsparger and Archer teams. In a formation like that, quick tosses, traps, and counters, are about all you can do...not as effective as it once was.

Getting guys open is something we havent had a problem with. It's just getting them the ball has been a challenge at times, plus the recent drops.

I thought that is what we were gonna see since the beginning of the season, a steady dose of KW and CS.

As far as bright spots from last night, second only to the aggression on defense was Keiland’s performance. Saw him run hard, lower his shoulder. Looked like he was really enjoying it.
