I was expecting an Olympic shot putter scream. That guy was well within the etiquette bounds of any serious gym. However, continuous bar impacts cause metal fatigue to the little screw in things in the ends that hold the bar together. Eventually they crack and the whole thing comes apart in the middle of a lift. Ask me how I know this...
