My brother, who is to the left of Bernie Sanders, visited last week and he was going on and on about the heat. I was polite and tried to change the subject but I wanted to just cut in and call him on his climate change/global warming bullshite hinting right away.
You mean to tell me in the middle of June in Alabama that it was hot? No, you don't say! It was mid to upper 90’s air temp and heat index of lower 100’s. I recall distinctly in 1981 here, even as an 8 year old, it was well north of 100 air temps for almost two weeks. That was memorable even for me at my age then. I did eventually remind him of that when he blew past my attempts to move to another subject.
If this mankind influenced climate change hocus pocus was such a thing, why are climate events so damned random? Should it not be a constantly devolving situation with larger, more extreme, and noteworthy events one upping the next? Oh that’s right, you lefties will say that I don’t get what climate change is all about just like I don’t understand that Communism is not a failed form of governance, it’s just not been applied properly. Sorry…I think that both are BS and that there’s nothing to explain about either. Not only that they’re more than just analogous, they’re both joined at the hip!
