Forgiven. I understand that and shouldn't have played the arse-hat grammar Nazi in that respect. My apologies. I still disagree with your premise that CO2 is finite and neither increases nor decreases. Insofar as the percentage of our atmosphere it makes up, increases and decreases are negligible. As for how much CO2 there was on the earth prior to the arrival of humans, no one can say. No one was around to measure it.

I agree with the premise that blaming climate change/global warming on CO2 is a crock of dookie, and I agree that humans have contributed very little (if any) to this supposed climate crisis. The only thing that is certain is that those who cry wolf regarding the destruction of all life as we know it because of mankind's actions regarding the use of fossil fuels have been wrong 100% of the time whenever they've been brave enough or foolish enough to place a date certain for when the ice caps will have all melted way and the sea levels will have risen to such a degree as to flood nearly all of the coastal areas of the world.

My apologies if I misprepresented what you stated.

I like the premise of what you wrote and I think we agree that climate change/global warming is all BS

My research shows that there is a finite amount of carbon dioxide - there is an amount that is in the atmosphere, there is an amount in plant life and humans and there is an amount underground but the total is finite as I understand it

I think the argument is when underground carbon dioxide reaches the surface and warms the atmosphere and changes or alters the temperature.

While there is a certain amount of scientific logic to that, a volcano spews more carbon dioxide than humanity
