Fyi i got quoted 3500 to demo a trailer the other day. That was onsite. If it was movable they would move it and demo it on their site for 2500.

That is what I was expecting. Only one of the numerous people I called returned my call. He said he did single wides for 4k range. Odd that a double wide would literally double the price given costs aren’t doubled.

And re: rental: yeah I always prefer to rent things like this (e.g., I’ve rented a tow-behind gas probably 10 times over past 20 years). But I can’t exaggerate the shite show that is this property. I’m thinking buying trailer and using over a year or more to clean this up. Then selling it. If I get one with a ramp then I can rent machinery with it too (I have a super duty diesel).

I just know nothing about brands and such. The one I saw for $11k had battery, trailer brakes, remotes for hydraulics, built-in roller tarp, and ramps. It seemed like a low-risk purchase given I could surely re-sell it for less of a loss than a bunch of rental fees. And not have worry about timing, returns etc.

Could just rent an excavator dig big hole and bury everything.

Just make sure to dig hole where u don’t plan on building anything on top. Burn it before backfilling as well!
